Portland, Oregon based fine art illustrator Brin Levinson is an artist of advertising illustration, CD cover art, picture books, book jackets, caricatures and editorial magazine illustration. Originally from Westford Vermont, Brin attended the Maine College of Art for a year before moving to California where he studied painting and animation at the California Institute of the Arts. Major early influences were artists such as M.C. Escher and Mitsumasa Anno.
People, movement and narrative became dominant elements of Brin's work. Imagery that tells part of a story, often leaving one wondering how it ends or how it began. Its the mystery that holds the viewers interest.
