No Contracts Needed is a theatre-sized local concert that amplifies a new perception of seeing local bands. NCN promotes independent talent within Massachusetts to the high school students, college students as well as music scenes enthusiasts that are looking for the most visually enhanced way to see local, independent bands play their hearts out. Boston has a long history of developing great local, lasting talent and this is the way to see the next Aerosmith, The Cars, Aimee Mann or Letters to Cleo before they are signed and on MTV.

No Contracts Needed is seeing new bands as they break into the fold, hearing new music as it takes its sound to another level, experiencing musicians with an attitude for the future.

NCN 2009
This year's event looks to bring in talent from around the country to The Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA on April 18th, 2009. The two month No Contracts Needed campaign will start in March with a web series that will promote the show called �Fn' Full House.� The show is about six college-aged students that have over stayed and over packed their three-person apartment, and there is a talking cat. In addition, the campaign looks to use viral tactics and events to bring in locals from surrounding cities.

Strategy
The NCN strategy is a differentiation/branding strategy that encompasses experiential marketing within it's viral tactics. NCN is taking local independent music in a different direction. By taking the show out of the clubs to the big stage, NCN will change the experience of seeing a local band by enhancing the visual, audio and atmosphere of a regular local show. When a person comes to NCN they will see local bands at the threshold of "making it" and it will be apparent with the presentation of the theater's stage show.

Promotional Tactics
1) "Fn' Full House"- An original web series created by The Opsercian Company and Astropiano Productions. This web series will prove to be an entertainment and promotional vehicle for all Opsercian entities and partners.
2) "The Opsercian High School Rompetition"- Three High School battle of the bands shows with online voting. A live promotional vehicle for Opsercian entities and partners. -last year's video footage:
3) Opsercian and Slyrox Music powered publicity campaign throughout Massachusetts.
4) One Month of Viral tactics- This includes experiential branded promo devices, SMS texting campaigns, each NCN band's own promotional campaign and a focused internet promotion that will hit the target of 13- 28 year olds within the Massachusetts market.
5) Public Relation events that bring the NCN brand, bands and partners to the neighborhoods of Massachusetts.
6) Integration of The Opsercian.com, Slyrox.com and NoContractsNeeded.com- these sites will be fully branding the show with individual promotion of each band in line with the show's concept and partners.
7) Radio and Print advertisements that bring to life the NCN brand, bands and its partners.

The Opsercian Co. is a music promotions company and online rock club that was founded in late 2007. Founder, Dave Crespo is a musician and promoter in Boston who is dedicated to creating a demand for local music from people of all ages.
