The After Party’s first CD, “DCAP” The record has a passion for playing grungy rock n' roll but brings upon a pop feel that taps bands like The Pixies and Fleetwood Mac on the back. The male over female vocal duets within the songs define the quirky sound of the band's simplicity.
"DCAP," is a record that proclaims the band's adulthood, yet within the record’s core lies the simplicity of childhood. Each song deals with escaping the place you are from, yet paying homage to it at the same time. Crespo says, "the idea of home is a Jekyll and Hyde story for me. Boston is my sanctuary at times, and others it's the force that makes me want to work hard and get up and out of town."
